CLARKE/dba Services for Oracle® Databases

Clarke Consulting offers two database administration packages for your Oracle database needs — CLARKE/dba Admin Pro, a comprehensive package for monitoring and maintaining your production databases which includes monitoring and administration; and CLARKE/dba On Call, contract database administration you can purchase in hourly increments for your occasional Oracle needs. With both solutions, you continue to work with the Clarke Consulting staff you trust. Our database administration team works through your primary Clarke Consulting engineer to provide you with the level of service and performance you have come to rely on.

CLARKE/dba Admin Pro
With CLARKE/dba Admin Pro, we work as an extension of your internal IT team to set up and manage your Oracle databases to maintain reliability, scalability, and peak performance. You are assigned a primary and secondary DBA. These individuals perform the work on your database, ensuring that your database is maintained by someone familiar with your system.

Seamlessly maintaining mission-critical systems is no easy task. You need a robust solution for monitoring the health of your database. The solution should reliably help you identify and address any issues. Database Rx is your solution for a healthy database. Developed by Database Specialists, a Clarke Consulting partner, it provides secure, automated monitoring and analysis of your Oracle databases. Clarke Consulting receives real-time notification of performance, stability, and scalability issues before they compromise performance or result in expensive downtime.

In addition to 24x7 monitoring, CLARKE/dba Admin Pro includes five hours of consulting time per month, which is used to perform proactive maintenance and performance tuning tasks, but can also be used for new deployments, database moves, or other Oracle-related tasks. Compared with the cost of a full-time database administrator, CLARKE/dba Admin Pro provides more capabilities and higher performance for less.

CLARKE/dba On Call
ClarkeDBA On-Call provides remote Oracle database administration services-installation and upgrades, query optimization, performance optimization, remote maintenance, and database design and consulting. ClarkeDBA On-Call is best suited to non-critical production and development databases and pilot installations, or for database customization. Custom rates for defined projects and non-standard hours are also available.
